7^th Grade Business Plan Project

Students will complete a series of tasks using Microsoft Office Applications to develop a storefront business.

        Outline business plan.

        Develop an expense and income budget using template in Excel. Research what would be actual amounts for line items.

        On graph paper draw a schematic of the store layout.

        In Word, create layout of store using drawing toolbar.

        Using Publisher, develop a business card and one type of advertisement (flyer, newspaper ad, brochure, web page)

Save all items in a folder (your name) in My Documents. When complete print entire packet
